Through this scheme, their children who were martyred in terrorist attacks in the country will be given scholarships as financial help for education by the government. Under the Pradhan Mantri scholarship scheme 2023, girls and boys in 12th class should have about 60% marks, only then they can get the benefit of this scheme.

Two ways to get PM Scholarship Scheme
Through this scholarship scheme, scholarships will be provided in two ways
First: the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare will be given the central Sainik Board Secretariat by the Ministry of Defence.
Second: the scholarship will be given under electronics and Information Technology.
How much scholarship will you get
Under this scheme, if the student is a girl, then ₹3000 month will be provided to them and ₹2500 month to the boys. Applications for this scheme have already begun, which will continue until May.

Under the scheme, the central Sainik Board Secretariat ,Ministry of Defence, Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Government of India will provide scholarships for their ex-servicemen ex-Coast Guard personnel and their wives, widowed children. And the Ministry of electronics and Information Technology and the government of India together will provide scholarships for the children of the central armed police forces Assam Rifle Naxal terrorist attacks martyred policemen.

To avail this scheme, you must meet the given eligibility criteria as follows-
If the applicant has at least 60% marks in intermediate, he will be eligible for this scheme.
To apply under this scheme, the applicant is required to be a resident of the country of India.
The minimum educational qualification of a boy or girl is required to be 12th to apply under the Pradhan Mantri scholarship scheme.

PM Scholarship Scheme 2023 All Students Will Get 30 to 36 Thousand Scholarship Scheme selection process
Priority will be given to the following categories of beneficiaries under this scheme-
They are all former soldiers, defence personnel and children of police officers who have died while on duty.
Children of former soldiers, defence personnel and police officers who have suffered injuries and become disabled while on duty.
Family members of a former soldier suffering from injury who has become disabled.
They are the children and widows of all east coast Defence members.
Below ex-servicemen personnel who fall into the category of staff.
All students whose father or husband was in the service of the nation have received gallantry awards.
Under this scheme, students who have been admitted in the first year can apply but those who have entered the lateral entry or integrated course cannot apply.
It is imperative for the applicant to be a child of ex-servicemen or Coast Guard personnel.
The applicant must have obtained more than 60% marks in the diploma or graduation.
Students who are pursuing education for years beyond the second year will not get the benefit of this scheme.
Children of paramilitary forces and other citizens will not get the benefit of this scheme.
Students with a master’s degree course will not be considered eligible .
Students who receive B. Tech ,MBBS ,BDS ,BBA from recognized educational institutions of UGC and Council of technical education,
Those who are pursuing BCA, B Pharma, etc., will be considered eligible for this scheme.
Candidates with distance education will not get any benefit of this scheme.
Under the scheme, students will not be provided any scholarships for foreign teaching .
This scheme can be availed by a student for the same course.
