• Mining Officer: B.E. (Mining) or B.Tech (Mining Engineering) or equivalent qualification (OR) M.Sc. (Geology) or M.Sc. (Applied Geology) or M.Tech (Geology) or M.Tech (Applied Geology) (OR) Post Graduate Degree in Geology / Applied Geology.
• Assistant Mining Engineer: B.E. (Mining) or B.Tech (Mining Engineering) or equivalent qualification.
• Assistant Geologist: M.Sc. (Geology) or M.Sc. (Applied Geology) or M.Tech (Geology) or M.Tech (Applied Geology) or equivalent (OR) Post Graduate Degree in Geology / Applied Geology.

• Mining Officer: FPL-9 Cell 1 ₹ 53100/-
• Assistant Mining Engineer: FPL-7 Cell 1 ₹ 44900/-
• Assistant Geologist: FPL-9 Cell 1 ₹ 53100/-
